Mr. Lai Swee Fong received his Bachelor in Civil Engineering and Masters in Civil Engineering from National University of Singapore in 1989 and 1999, respectively. He is a Life Member of Environmental Engineering Society of Singapore (EESS). He has served as an Honorary Auditor, Honorary Treasurer and Council Member for the Environmental Engineering Society of Singapore (EESS). He is currently a Life Member of the society. Mr Lai is also a Senior Member of Institute of Engineer, Singapore (IES).

Mr. Lai Swee Fong has more than ten (10) years of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) consultancy experience. He provides consultancy services on ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, Safety Management System (SMS) and Risk Management (RM). His experience with industries include manufacturing, pharmaceutical, metal working, engineering, construction, waste management, landfill, incineration plant, packaging, aerospace, service, trading, tertiary institution, chemical industry, Singapore Arm Force (army, navy and air force), etc. He is also a MOM-accredited risk consultant.

Mr. Lai has also more than ten (10) years of EHS auditing experience. EHS audits focus on the conformance / compliance with Client’s Corporate requirements, international standards and regulatory requirements. He is an approved MOM safety auditor in the open category and an accredited NEA safety auditor.  His EHS auditing experience includes MOM-SMS audit for construction, chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing and metal working industries; NEA-safety audit for chemical and utilities industries; green labeled computers and printers; risk assessment / management for industries applying for Risk Management Assistance Fund (RMAF) and overtime exemption; and Workplace Safety & Health Performance Awards (WSHPA) and Safety and Health Award Recognition for Project (SHARP) for various industries.  ·
