The 8th International Water Association (IWA) Specialised Membrane Technology Conference & Exhibition for Water and Wastewater Treatment and Reuse (IWA- MTC 2017)  will be held in Singapore from 5 to 9 September 2017.

This event is organized by Centre for Water Research at National University of Singapore (CWR@NUS) and Environmental Engineering Society of Singapore (EESS), and supported by PUB, Singapore’s national water agency, and the Singapore Exhibition and Convention Bureau.

IWA-MTC is the conference & exhibition series of the IWA Specialist Group “Membrane Technology”, one of the largest Specialist Groups inside IWA, covering the entire range of water-related membrane technology. Membranes play a major role in producing high quality drinking water and overcoming water shortage challenges faced by many countries in the world through water reuse and desalination. Tremendous achievements have been made in the field of membrane technology for water and wastewater treatment in the last decades, and membrane technology continues to progress at a fast pace, generating many new breakthroughs through research and development. Also, membranes will play a key role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), both in water supply and in Sanitation.
